This is the first part of our conversation on why and how dad started collecting baseball cards in the late 50s. Interesting. I remember his being anamored by Sherm Loller, but I don't remember that George guy. I think Sherm Loller was talk around the dinner table many nights. We all loved the name because it sort of rolled off your tongue -- Sherm Loller. Glad you posted these videos.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't remember the George guy either, but he said it was because he was only his favorite for a year and then he retired, so Sherm was his guy. And, like you said, Sherm just rolled off the tongue. :-) Glad you liked them! Hope to do more next time we get together. I think he liked doing them!!
